Mississauga, Ont. - The Salvation Army family services assisted 4,483 families over the past year. A total of 5,291 children were assisted.

• Emergency community response - Thanks to the generosity of donors, The Salvation Army operates an emergency response vehicle. These modified RV type vehicles attend fires and other disasters throughout Mississauga to provide practical support and counselling to assist victims and emergency workers.


• Day Care Centre - There are three Salvation Army day care centres located in Mississauga. Over the past 25 years, over 13,000 children have passed through these doors.
