Arrested Poker Players Offered Deal If They Take SA Program

Winnipeg - Poker players who were arrested during raids at three Winnipeg clubs last spring are being offered a deal that will clear their names if they attend The Salvation Army's seven-week "Positive Lifestyles Diversion."

By law, the only sanctioned poker tables in the province are those at the government-run Club Regent Casino and those approved by the commission as charity fundraising tournaments.
