Many charities are asking people to check Health Canada's recall list before they donate a toy. For more information on recalled products go to www.healthycanadians.gc.ca/recalls

In the last 12 days, Health Canada has released 11 advisories for recalled children's products. That's in addition to 80 recall advisories issued to the public since the beginning of the year, affecting hundreds of toys.
