Saskatoon-Leaving their homes for the second time in as many years because of flooding didn't make it any easier for the 267 Red Earth First Nation residents arriving in Saskatoon last Friday.
Evacuees are staying at the Cosmo Civic Centre while waiting for water levels to peak at their reserve.
The Salvation Army has mobilized a group of volunteers to help battle hunger at the centre.
Picking up food prepared at the University of Saskachewan's Marquis Hall, washing tables, setting up the food area, manning the drink station and the general preparation area, and serving up food portions are a few of the tasks carried out by volunteers.
