As of Friday, August 18th, The Salvation Army has assisted 56 families consisting of 221 persons fleeing from Lebanon.
Food assistance in the amount of $2,958 and emergency vouchers in the amount of $22,400 to be used in Army thrift stores have been given to the needy.
In addition to these amounts, thirty families have received mattresses from the Army's "Hub" warehouse with a value of $8,176. Another rush of families is anticipated in the near future.
