The owner of several Curves in Burnaby, B.C., Susan Ruetz, is very supportive of The Salvation Army.

Curves is a gym that offers a proven 30-minute workout, commonsense weight loss and all the support you need to reach your goals.

In March, 2006, Curves in Burnaby promoted a food drive and two of the locations donated food to The Salvation Army. 2,976 lbs of food was collected. The Salvation Army food bank was low at this time and greatly appreciated Susan's initiative.
