The Salvation Army Maritimes Community Resonse Unit will keep on rolling for some time thanks to Investors Group. A cheque presentation was made in early September, 2006, to stock up on fuel and food for the unit. In operation in Halifax since November 2002, the CRU dispenses hot nutritious meals to the cold, the hungry, the dislocated and to emergency responders.
