Thorburn, N.S. - From September 15 to 17 The Salvation Army Scotian Glen Camp was home to 102 seniors as they participated in their 50+ Fellowship Camp.
The theme for this year was "Royalty." Guests for the weekend were Mjrs Charlie and Grace Young, speakers; Miss Jalianne Li, harpist and Mr. Keith Young, soloist. Old friendships were renewed and new ones made.
A Saturday afternoon Tea Party was a "Royal" hit, where delegates dressed in their finest outfits, sipped tea from china cups and listened to regal music. A "Royal" visit of King Charles and Queen Grace was a grand highlight.
On Saturday evening the seniors enjoyed a night filled with great fun and wonderful music.
The weekend was complete with times of worship and Bible Study. During each session, Mjrs Charlie & Grace Young acknowledged that all are special in God's eyes no matter how little or how much we have in this world. They unfolded the theme in such a way that each delegate felt like "Royalty" by the end of the weekend.
