Kitchener,ON - On November 23, peace medallions for 2007 were awarded as part of YMCA World Peace Week.

There were four categories and Beth King of The Salvation Army community church in Kitchener was the winner in the Strong Role Model category. She was cited for leadership in the community and the church, where she runs a girls' group for teens.
