A team of 14 youth from the Ontario Great Lakes area (INTEGRATE - HAITI '07) are going to Petit-Goave, Haiti and they want you to join them in prayer.

Over 80% of the population live in abject poverty - due to the confluence of a number of devastating causes. The politics can be crazy. Voodoo is potent. The INTEGRATE team is going to experience this stuff for real! They will be doing some minor building repairs and daily children's ministry, but mostly they will be learning and experiencing another culture through relationships with the Haitian Salvation Army youth.

INTEGRATE team wants you to pray for them while they are away (May 4-18, 2007).

Prayer for: Physical Safety and Health
A good idea is to pray the end of Ephesians 6 (the Armour of God) over the team.

Absolute Humility
This will mean team members will need to get rid of some of the prejudices that have subtly snuck into their thinking. This can be a painful process.

Relationships
That the team will develop relationships that challenge their thinking, how they view the world and further their attempts to follow Jesus.

Transformation
That this cross-cultural experience would bring about lasting transformation in the lives of participants that leads to profound changes in their outlook on life and lifestyle choices they make.
