Regina, SK - The 25th annual motorcycle toy run was held under blue skies in Regina on September 29, 2007, with a record number of motorbikes participating. Six hundred and sixty one bikes carrying between 800-900 riders, collected well over 1000 toys, breaking another record. At least two side cars were carrying passengers from the Rehab centre - also motorbike enthusiasts.
The Salvation Army, grateful recipient of the generosity of the Regina Motorcycle Association’s toy run, was on hand to serve coffee, cold bottled water, and doughnuts to the participants - one as young as 22 months old!
With the help of City police, the parade wound its way down Albert Street amongst the spectator-lined streets, ending at the Callie Curling Club in West Regina.
The Salvation Army is grateful to the Regina Motorcycle Association for their continued support, enthusiasm and generosity. Once again they have helped to brighten the Christmas season for many children in the Regina area.
