December 1st is World AIDS Day and to emphasize the continuing seriousness of the pandemic, Lt. Col. Marguerite Ward talks about the disease in southern Africa. She and her husband are about to end twelve years of service in South Africa and Zimbabwe, where she has been involved in developing new community strategies to deal with the effects of HIV/AIDS.
