Toronto - The Ontario Central-East Public Relations and Development office has retained Rogers OMNI Television in an effort to raise awareness of The Salvation Army in Toronto among the Chinese and South Asian communities.
According to the United Nations, Toronto is the most multicultural city in the world. In-language commercials will be developed that will also include "billboards" and web elements as we seek to educate our vast public in the work of our organization. The Salvation Army will also be participating in various cultural events throughout the year - commencing with the Chinese New Year in January 2008.
This is a long-term commitment for the OCE Division.
