Kenora and Dryden Thrift Stores Go Green

Wed 2nd Apr 2008 Add comment

Going Green Thrift Stores As of April 1, 2008 the Kenora and Dryden Thrift Stores are going green. We will be using
energy efficient light bulbs, bio degradable cleansers, and recycling all recyclable materials.

All our excess paper is being shredded and all our cardboard is being recycled. The only cleansers that will be used in our store will be environmently friendly ones. We will only supply shopping bags that have been recycled to us by our customers. The response to the community has been very positive, and customers are very anxious to save shopping bags for our store. We have placed bins to recycle cans and bottles and we are keeping old batteries, cell phones etc. to the side to be taken to outlets in the community for special items.

Kenora & Dryden Thrift StoresThe staff and Officer's feel that God has given us our beautiful earth, and we want to
do everything possible to be good stewards of all He has given us.
