B.C.- Twenty-one Salvation Army thrift stores in the Lower Mainland are running a re-decorating contest until July 14 that offers one aspiring home designer a $2,000 prize.

There is no cost to enter, but participants, 19 and over,  must take "before" and "after" pictures and provide receipts proving the items used in their room makeover came from a Salvation Army thrift store.

Second and third prizes are $350 and $150.
