The third annual White Rock/South Surrey, BC, social justice film festival will take place this weekend at The Salvation Army and the First United Church. The films, selected by a panel of 12, were chosen because they offer hope and positive avenues for viewers to get involved.
This is the first year The Salvation Army is involved. "People think of The Salvation Army as a service church," says festival co-organizer Rev.Joan McMurtry, "but they come out of a social passion."
