Hello, I hope you are doing okay. My name is Angeline Musonza and I am a Zimabwean living in Canada. I just want to take this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I also wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your presence in Zimbabwe. I remember when I first saw you, it was at a congress and you were introduced to the congregation. I was still a student at Howard Secondary School. I was so impressed that you would leave the comfort of your home Canada to come all the way to Zimbabwe. I didn't talk to you but I have always respected you. I admire you even more now that you have stayed even when life is difficult. We the Zimbabweans could not stand the heat and we left but because of your genuine love, you stayed and I know you are still doing wonders for those people even if at times there's no medicine. I know that just your presence gives the people comfort. I miss Zimbabwe. Very much and as soon as things stabilizes I intend to come back. People think I am crazy when I say that but I always say, you don't understand the pull of Africa. Something just pulls you there. Anyway, Major, I know Christmas time must be the hardest time for you and I just wanted to let you know that I will remember you in my prayers. God bless. Angeline Musonza

Dear Dawn: We wished to write to salute your commitment as you serve the Lord and advance the mission of The Salvation Army where you are. We remember from our time in France how Christmas sometimes brought a sense of being away from home. May you have the absolute certainty of the presence of Christ, not just during Christmas, but all through the year. With our thoughts and prayers. Merry Christmas! Eleanor and Glen Shepherd
