The United Nations has designated March 8 as International Women's Day and, to mark the day, Colonel Eleanor Shepherd talks about the progress women are making, despite disproportionately shouldering the burden of war, human trafficking, disease and hunger. Colonel Shepherd heads up The Salvation Army's ministries to women in Canada and Bermuda.
