On Monday, June 4, CBC Radio in Corner Brook, NF, did their three- hour (6 a.m. - 9 a.m.) live Morning Show from The Salvation Army Social Services Centre.

This was in conjunction with the "Christmas in June Food Drive". For the Morning Show their were local musicians and a band ensemble from The Salvation Army Corner Brook Temple Corps, who played a number of Christmas items. Also, coffee/tea and muffins were served over the three hours.
