    Dear Christine:

    We wished to write to salute your commitment as you serve the Lord and advance the mission of The Salvation Army where you are. We remember from our time in France how Christmas sometimes brought a sense of being away from home.

    May you have the absolute certainty of the presence of Christ, not just during Christmas, but all through the year.
