Volunteer Recognition

lynda_rathburn.jpgLynda Rathburn, from Vancouver's Kate Booth House, is recognized at the 19th annual Volunteer Vancouver Awards with an Honourable Mention for a Volunteer Recognition Award.

Kate Booth Transition House is a safe, confidential shelter for women and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse.

Lynda, who is loved by staff and residents for her quiet, unassuming demeanour and loving compassion has shown her love to Kate Booth House with almot 5000 volunteer hours since its opening in 1985.

Mjr Betty Ann Lewis,DCCMS/DVSS, supports Lynda as she recieves her certificate.
