Two candidates approved last week are now in Winnipeg starting classes. Alison and Peter Lublink are from the Oakville Community Church in the Ontario Central Division.
Peter says: I was blessed to be born into a Christian family and raised by parents who during my teen years became officers. The biggest turning point in my life was on a mission trip to Hungary. I saw in the lives of the people that I was working with a real and tangible need for Christ. At that time I felt called to do what I could to help the suffering and forgotten.
Alison says: I grew up in a Christian home and attended Christian schools most of my life. Because of this positive influence I have stayed strong in God. I believe that by attending the College for Officer training my life will be enriched by allowing me to minister to others. I am excited about this opportunity!
