Response to Prayer Request for Iraq

Tue 8th Aug 2006 Add comment

My Dear Friends,

You may remember the letter I sent to you through this medium last week regarding our prayer requests!

There were two specific prayer topics related to Iraq. One was "that the power of the Holy Spirit might dissolve that very dark cloud that hangs over Iraq and results in the suffering of so many innocent and very vulnerable people". The other was "that the positive solutions to the suffering that do already exist are blessed and supported. In particular that the Iraqi Salvation Humanitarian Organisation is empowered to survive and prosper".

Last week a note was sent unto Muntajab Ibraheem, chair of the Iraqi Salvation Humanitarian Organisation. Perhaps you would be interested in reading the response we received back …

His response was (a little tidied);

"Dear Sir,

From all my heart I am thanking you and Mr. Cedric and all the staff of IHQ for all their works for supporting us and for their pure intentions as you make this prayer to God and for us. We are thankful and appreciate you with our hearts for these prayers and we are thanking everybody who pray for our injured country and for our Iraq peoples. Pardon me sir because with all the words that I say I think I can’t express my feelings. Finally I ask you to please pass my message to all peoples who pray for Iraq and for the peace in the world .

Regards from all to all
Your brother
Muntajab"

It is good to know how much prayer can be appreciated in such a desperate situation.

I want to thank you for your continued prayer support.

Regards,

Roy Frans, Commissioner
