North York Temple in Toronto reaches out to the community through "Ministry in Motion", a black light theatre troupe.

For almost a year the group has been building a full-length show that contains amazing colour, music and creativity with a message. The whole show is done under black light. The members have constructed hundreds of props, some on an enormous scale. All are painted in vivid fluorescent paint.

The most unique thing about this group is that anyone can be part of it. Members range in ages from four to 74. Some are physically or mentally challenged. Many have been searching for a ministry in which they could actively participate.

The group's long-term goals include running a community dinner theatre as well as putting together shows geared to specific audiences. The youth are currently working on developing a show relevent to young people.

Recently the entire group painted the house of a family in their community. This is the crux of who they really are, hence the name "Ministry In Motion." Service is equally important to them as their involvment in the theatre troupe.
