Toronto, Ont. -In celebration of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation's 60th anniversary, members of the media were invited to a gingerbread house building competititon to raise funds for the Salvation Army's Florence Booth house on Dec 1.

The gingerbread houses were auctioned off and the proceeds, along with a donation from CMHC was presented to the 60-bed emergency shelter in Toronto's East York.
