Two Nanaimo, B.C., authors hope to raise $100,000 for The Salvation Army by Christmas eve. Lorraine and Shawn Jensen, authors of Olive Juice Forever: Confessions of a Love Junkie, have set a target of selling 20,000 copies for $20 each, with $5 from each sale going directy to Nanaimo's Salvation Army.

Lorraine Jensen previously worked in a Salvation Army Detox centre, and after becoming aware of Nanaimo's high poverty rate at a recent Salvation Army luncheon, the Jensens decided they wanted to help.

Books can be purchased through the website at www.olivejuiceforever.com or by calling 1-604-760-0994.
